I've got an 02 Fatboy that I'm looking to either put a detachable windshield or fairing on for long rides and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on the proper hardware kit and windsheild that I need to install or anything I need to "massage" to make it work on my bike.
Here's my current setup.
Street Slammer drag bar
Headlight Nacelle Kit for Softail
Softail Deluxe Passing Lamps and CloseTurn Signalswith Visor Rings
Any part numbers I need to get to make sure this all clears? I remember hearing of something I might need to trim but I can't clearly remember what it is.
For windshield any windshield made for the bike with a nachelle will fit. If you get a stadard windshield the cutout around the headlight may be too small, you can cut it to fit.
As for farings I would call tthe manufacturer to be sure that they will fit.
