02 fatboy electrical prob
Went for a ride last night and all was well. Stopped off to have a beer prior to going home. Come out, start the bike, and my headlight and taillight are not on, everything else worked. Was getting dark so had to hurry home. Almost home and I start smelling something like plastic(?) burning. Get home and I have smoke coming from under my seat on the right side and obviously smelling like burnt plastic(?) Pulled off the seat and saw nothing. Checked the fuse for my lights and it was blown.Put in another fuse turned the ignition and it blew right away. Any ideas from you guys? Thanks in Advance.

I suspect you have a hot wire that has the insulation worn and is grounding out. You'll just have to trace all the wires our. One culprit is often the wiring harness under the rear fender. Sometimes it comes out of the retainer and wears against the tire.
