service manual question

would a 2002 service manual be about the same as a 2003 manual?

In most cases yes, HD isn't exactly known for changeing their designs at the speed of light.

i have a 2003 100th anniversary fatboy and i can get a 02 softail manual. would the manual pretty much cover my fatboy?

Yes for that model you should be good. Most parts say 2001 to 2005. So i would think if the parts are the samr the bikes should be about the same just different paint schemes on the gas tank
