If the baffle in your Q series pipes are the same that were in my SE 16 gauge double barrell pipes. (Should be SE were made by V&\\;H \\; and reintroduced as the Q pipe ) I don't think there is anything you can do. Are the baffles all metal with a cap on the end and a cap on the inside. \\; Any quieter you might as well go back to stock or a SE slip on pipe.
The quiet baffles and the baffles that come in the "Q" series pipes are different. \\; After riding with mine for about a month, I changed to the quiet baffles and it took some of the edge off and gave it a deeper rumble. \\;
