It is kind of a pain the first time. I internally wired my 16" apes. I ran a peice of thin wire from the bottom ( I used welding wire ) and&nbsp\\; made a small hook on the end and used electrical tape to tape the wires to the wire. I squirted some penetrating oil in my handlebars to help the wires around the bends...seemed to help but still took some tuggin and pulling. Anyway thats how I did it.

i just pushed the wires through the bars and it was easy but if they had ahard turn a wire or string would be easier. take off the tank first dont screw with sliding it back. when u remove the tank. if your bike is efi, first thing you do is pop off the fuel line. PM if you want to call and talk to someone before you start

I got rid of the stock protective covering over the wires and replaced it with shrink rap. A little silicone and it slid through slicker than snot on a chickens lip.

I disconnected the wires from the connectors (took digital pics first to help replace the connectors), taped up the ends with electrical tape and in about 5 seconds a side the bars were wired.
&nbsp\\;
At first I made it real complicated but it nded up easier than what I thought.

You can use weed wacker string for a fish tape and not worry about scratches.
