When I bought my HD tankd emblem the fastening kit with tape was sold seperate from the emblem. You may get hairline scratches in your clear coat when removing the original emblem, dont let that discourage you, just get the rubbing compound out and finish it with some of your favorite wax and you will be as good as new.

If you're talking about a decal logo under the clearcoat, nothing you can do with that except refinish and repaint the tank.
