i just got a 08 xbones and after adding v&h black big radius 2into 2 and the rear seat and rear back pad bar and pegs i am at 22k oh and the 3 yr service plan. i am going to pick up the pipes wed.
Can you tell me the name of the dealer you bought the bike from? I live in Arlington VA and Ive been to a couple of the VA dealers so far. sounds like you got a good deal
congrats!!
I doubt if he will give you the name of the dealer. People like to exaggerate the deals they get on bikes. People prepay for incoming crossbones. It is a hot bike, not many deals out there.
I have zero problem giving the name of the dealer: Harley Davidson of Maryland in Elkridge. I bought mine off the floor for the deal I mentioned above; I have no reason to "exaggerate." Sorry to bust your bubble.
congrats on your new ride you will enjoy. I bought my bones back in May and this one i will keep a long time..Bad *** bike out the box....I work off shore and i'm going through withdraws cause i can't ride....I got the bags not sure what pipes i'm gonna go with and gonna check into the stage 1 next time i'm off. congrats to ya again and stay safe.
You can get good deals on the bones, at least in Maryland. I paid msrp in Feb. for the 1st one but now the dealers all have a couple on the floor. I believe $1500 under msrp could be had here.
Congrats on the new bike
Picked up my black denim Cross Bones last Friday after trading in my Road King Custom and I couldn't be happier. \\; I like the way the Xbones rides WAY more than the RKC. \\; I got a smoking deal too: the dealership knocked $1900 off MSRP, gave me $2100 over Kelly Blue Book on my trade in, deleted the prep charge and threw in my first service. \\; I live in the DC/Baltimore area where there are a bunch of dealers so I guess competition is pretty high. \\; It's also the second bike I bought at this dealer. \\; They will be installing black V&\\;H short shots, stage 1 kit, blah blah once the pipes arrive. \\; I'm totally psyched about the new bike and have zero regrets about leaving the RKC behind.
Can you share with me the part # for the V&H short shots? Im looking at the same setup as you. I picked my Xbones last Friday
thanks
You guys are killing me with this I got my new Crossbones! I gave the military sales guy a check 10 days ago, and still waiting for the call to pick mine up. Ohh its killing me.
