Default strutless fender

I have been looking at the different options for a new fender for my 200mm conversion on a 01 night train. I like the look of the strutless fender. Are they able to hold the weight of a passenger?

Default RE: strutless fender

dmcustoms.net, hogpro.com have these kits with and without struts. Both advertize that they can hold x amount of weight. X being like 600 pounds etc etc. I've priced them and with new rims and tires each kit is around 3-5K without paint!
There are a ton of companies that do this..just look around. But you just might save some money by buying an 06 with it already on it... depends on what you can get on your bike I guess. Good luck, post pics if you ever do it...
