Brand new and Broken
My softttail custom was so new, it was still running on the dealer's gas. I had no power! Riding along, things would be fine. Then - no power.
Then it would come back. Then go.
I limped it back to the dealer on the third day. (Couldn't get it above 60 - 65 m.p.h.). That was exciting on the turnpike.
Just got it back tonight. They said it was "very unusual" but the coil was bad.
Had to scavenge from another bike in the dealership to get one.
How unusual is this? Anybody else have trouble with a brand new bike? (I had less than 90 miles on it.)

No troubles with the last four brand new bikes Ive owned. But anything mechanical can stop working at any time. Stuff happens. Nice that the dealer took one off the showroom bike to get you back on the road. What dealer?
