I am installing an Arlen Ness Taildragger rear fender on my 97 Fatboy. I need to find fender struts that will bolt up to the factory location but are about 4" shorter. Arlen Ness makes some but they are way overpriced. Does anyone know who else makes them??
Thanks for any help!
Personally after considering that myself, I'd just take a saw to them, cut to the right length. Grind it smooth and send to powdercoat. You can find them cheap on e-bay. About 20-30 bucks or less if you hit the bid right.

Carbed.
Stage I (Arlen Ness' K&N style oiled air filter)
Arlen Ness forward control extension kit.
V&H Straight shots
Radiant Side mount license plate light with LED cats-eye (discontinued)
Kuryakyn LED side rear marker/ turn lights
HD Diamond Back solo seat
I ended up biting the bullet and buying these. I called Arlen Ness and they discontinued the "Shorty Fender Rails" for the Tail Dragger fender. I also liked the LED lights that these come with. http://www.chopperscycle.com/page/VTS/PROD/43-256/30390
