need help about changing risers
I have a 2008 softail custom....wanting to change to the 2 up 2 out risers....being told multiple answers about if the cables are long enough to chnge the risers....please help me will the cables be long enough if i change to these risers.......please help me thanks
the quickest way to find out is to remove the riser caps and hold the bars at the approximate height as the risers you are considering.
IMO: there is enough slack to make this swap.

I was hoping there was. Hubby is having serious problems...having to stretch too far and very uncomfortable on long trips....some said they though all but one but i was hoping they all would be....then i guess i will buy him those for our 12th anniversary......thanks for the help .....
A friend of mine just put those risers on his FXSTC. Everything worked, but he did have to lift his tank and readjust the routing of the throttle cables and wiring a little.
On most riser and bar swaps that don't exceed 2" you can gat away with the stock setups. The only real sticking point seems to be the brake line. Its made of a combination hard and flex lines that may or may not "give" enough to allow the change.
These risers from badlands motorcycle required no changes
