Default Seat heat
Hey everyone. I ride a 2004 FXSTI with a PCIII set-up. Does anyone ever experience this problem: As I ride, sometimes the seat becomes hot. It is not constant and not prolonged, but at some points it is a little uncomfortable. It also doesn't happen consistently. Sometimes it happens as I am moving, other times not, so I can't really pinpoint a certain action that may cause it. Also, my daughter complained that the passenger pillon was hot as well. I can see the rider's bucket getting some heat by being over the oil tank, but the passenger seat?!?
Any thoughts?

Maybe pull the seats off and see if any seams are open letting hot air from the engine in??

yeah i would go with the dyno tune and pulling the seat off and see if you can see or feel any heat coming from the motor or oil tank
