Uhm, Mike, I've gotta disagree with you here and strongly. You have 500 miles on your new bike and have a wobble. You've told your dealer, but plan to put 500 more miles before you have them check it out. Don't Wait!!! Get it in there, now.
This is from a guy who once got a bike back from the dealer with no nut on the bolt through the front axle. Why not err on the side of safety and riding comfortably now?
Sorry, to disagree so strongly, you prob. have more experience than me, but I want you around and I am tired of dealers (of any type) saying, "see if it gets worse, and we'll look at it during your next servicee visit." You may have ordered extra stuff on the bike, but I doubt you ordered a front end wobble at 40 mph, so they should get on it NOW and get it fised.
Did you ever put that nut on the front axle or are you going to wait till the next oil change? (sick humor)

Thank you guys for scaring the common sense back into me, I am scheduling it for service today!
I have put it on the lift and checked the front end for loosness and the lateral and radial runout of the tire and wheel. did not find any thing. My salesman said it may have a loose spoke or more! But now I am taking her in for an inspect! and hopefully a correction without a hassel.

It was on a Honda...I should have just traded for a Harley. My dad did buy a police style Harley with a side car from them. This was back in the mid-70's. The Harley was well used (don't remember the year) Had only a kick start and a 3 speed tranny with reverse. My dad died a few years later and we sold the bike. One of the stupidest things I have ever done. Anothr one was that I RODE that Honda back to the dealer to get it fixed!
