Default Two Tone Orange

My friend and I are going to a dealership tomorrow to look at a two tone orange Softail Classic. It is supposed to be a special color that is not listed in the book, but can be delivered. Has anyone seen one of these? If so, it would be a rare one.

I have seen a few bikes that were orange, it sure made an interesting looking ride. It would be interesting to see what shade of orange that they use.

I saw one about a month ago that was clearly a custom paint job. It was a really good shade, not too bright but had this deepness to it that really caught your eye. Had sort of a reverse flame thing going on... You had to see it, hard to describe.

Last Fall when I was looking for my bike I saw an Orange fatboy on eBay. I LOVE orange bikes! It did not sell because the guy who was selling it for a customer said the customer had "too much in it". Interestingly it was a factory paint job done as a 2003 100 year program. It was really beautiful and I would have loved to have it but the price and the AL location made it too much to try to deal a deal around. Only really orange fatboy I have seen.

Well, we drove to Paris, TX to see the orange Heritage. It turned out to be a factory special, but the orange was more like a light rust, with black checkered flags below the light rust (orange). We were impressed only with the price, $2,500 extra for the paint.

So, we drove to Stillwater, OK and ordered their only two may allocated Lava Red Sunglo Heritages, to be delivered middle of May. Can't wait!

SWEET! Congrats! I wouldn't have paid the $2500 for the paint either. For that kind of money I would rather go to a custom painter and get something a little more personal.
