I just picked up a 06 Fatboy, 88B engine, the seller said it has a SE AC but I opened the cover today, it is stock. How do I know if the ecu has been remapped? Most likely not in this case. Beside a fuel pack, any other options? What's your opinion? Thanks Alex
The only way you can tell if the ECM has been remapped is by taking it to the dealer or buy a SERT or Pro Tuner and check it yourself.

Regarding tuners there are a lot of opinions out there and many threads on the subject. In general it seems go V &\\; H Fuel Pak, PClll, DFO, or for more $ and more precise tuning SERT, Pro Tuner or Thunder Max.

My bike is a 05 FLSTFI with the 95ci kit and SE AC from the \\;factory since it was a Ann. Edition, I added V &\\; H BSS pipes and had it dynoed with the SERT, total ran about $ 800 . The bike runs great and I have no regreats. But my friend rides the same bike and instaed of going with the dyno and SERT he added a V &\\; H Fuel Pak for $ 225.00. I would say that his bike runs every bit a good as mine, smooth, no popping on decel same power. So IMO if the bike is going to stay basicly stock just pipes and AC the Fuelers (like the Fuel Pak or DFO) work fine. If you want to squeeze out everything or are planning cams ect you need more.
Hey thanks for the reply, I am thinking to get the PCIII, it is more flexible and easy to flash the prom. I am a mechanic myself, although I don't work on motorcycle but I'd love to do my own bike repair, can't trust the dealer, sometimes you are lucky, a lot of time it turned into a sad story.
