Hey
I wondered if any of you are running the new "QQ" series Thunder Monsters in your pipes. As you can tell, Im running the SE 16ga pipes and Im planning to order the QQ baffles when Big City Thunder reopens their store in July. Just wanted some feedback if any of you have them. The SE pipes are nice, I just want a deeper sound. I know these guys make a quality product, but "sound" is something hard to describe on a website.
Thanks in advance for any replies!
Matter of personal preference, but I ran the regular TM baffles in my SE 16 ga shotgun pipes and the sound was very good. Don't know about the QQ. I since have switched to 2 \\; into 1 header with fishtail straight pipe, and put TM for head pipe baffle in and it sounds like a hot rod! TM is one of the best cheap mods you can do and easy to install.

My thinking on the QQ is that they would be "less" restrictive than the stock baffles, but a little "more" restrictive than the regular TM's and still provide a deeper note. \\; I want to get rid of that tin, metallic exhaust note.
Thanks for the replies. I had the standard TM's is a set of Screaming Eagle II slipons....man they were BAD! Sounded great! Ive been pretty happy with the Screaming Eagle 16ga pipes, althought they do have that metallic sound at times. Im gonna call about the "QQ's" when they open back up.....I will post my results when I am done.
Thanks again!
