Fat Boy pulls left
My fatboy isn't pulling but I found it is hard to keep it in the center of the road, especially rough surface, it could be the beefy front tire, who knows. I will definitely check rear wheel alignment and inspect drive belt for abnormal wear and tear, it might tell you something there.
I'm sorry to report that no amount of adjustment on the rear axle would make the belt come off of the left side of the pulley. At any rate I made a tool for alignment and got the wheel spot on. I still have to reinstall the stock slipons before I can test drive it but I imagine that nothing has changed as far as pulling to the left. It very well could be the Dunlops. I had a Honda Shadow 1100 American made bike that came with Dunlops and it pulled to the left too. I had a custom 18" rear wheel made for it and installed the widest Metzlers I could stuff in there and that bike tracked perfectly after that. I have always attributed it to the Metzlers.
I was out riding with my son in law yesterday and I tried out his Suzuki C50 and let go of the handlebars only to find it pulled real HARD to the right. I immediately grabbed the bars again. This is a shafty drive bike so I didn't expect that. I've owned shafties before and never had that happen, kinda caught me off guard. He has IRC tires on that bike.
All I can say is the dealer is right when I asked them about pulling to the left...they all do it.

I ride an 02 Fatboy and have always been able to let go of the bars at any speed faster than 35mph and mine has never pulled one way or the other, and the only tires she has ever run are the stock Dunlops.. one of the many things I love about her is ,she's low maintenance

I'd put in a call to HD in Milwaukee before I'd accept

I tried out the Fatboy today and it's markedly better. I'd say it cut the pull in half. It seems the wheel alignment wasn't quite right when the dealer delivered the bike to me. Before no amount of pushing with the right foot on the floorboard would correct the pull. Now I can make it track perfectly by pushing down with my right foot.
