Default Belt not centered in rear srocket

06 STREET BOB. i just installed a rear tire and PRIER to doing so i always noticed the belt was off to the left on the rear sprocket the bike has 9,000 ish miles on it i bought the bike new. the belt doesn't have any wear. is this normal or is there a way to make the belt ride more centered in the sprocket ? i cant find anything in the manual or on line about it. thanks for any help

I've not ever seen one ride dead center of the sprocket. As long as your belt shows no wear or fraying on the edge it will be fine. In fact the belt on my wide glide runs to the outer edge from the day I bought it to today, 35k on it and no problems.

It is normal for it to run slightly left of center on rear sprocket. If you roll the bike backwards, the belt should creep slightly to right of center on rear sprocket.

As stated, this is normal, the front sprocket/pulley is designed to keep the belt running to the outside to prevent rubbing against the internal metal.
If you have any concerns check the alignment of the rear wheel.

Like 8541hog said, check your rear tire alignment. As long as you have a gap, big or small between the sprocket and the belt, it is fine. If there is no gap, you can adjust the rear axle using the adjusting screws on the rear of the frame. Check your manual on the adjustment procedure.

It is fine, everyone of them I have seen runs to the edge up against the lip on the rear sprocket. As long as its not chewing up the belt your fine.
