Hey just wondering who has the pad installed? What do you think about it? Is it at least as comfortable as the stock seat? What kind of mounting hardware does it come with? Will the mounting hardware show when the pillion is removed?
i have it on my fatboy, the fiance doesnt like it as much as the \\;\\\\\\;stock fatboy seat, but that thing had to go. She likes it more then the Sidekick seat i use to have. as far as mounting it has two plastic prongs in the front that slide under the brawler seat, then you just use the back seat screw thingy(?) to mount the back of it... gimme a sec ill go take a pic of the seat
Swapping seats when my wife wants to go on a short ride to see friends or a bar takes too long...alright I know it doesn't take that long but I want it to be faster. I think this seat will work out well for me.
Do the prongs rub under the solo seat or is there visible paint rub when you take the pillion off? Oh and one last thing, from a passenger's point of view does the pillion feel sturdy and safe?
i have visaul rubbing, its just 2 little spots. i havnt ever ridden on the seat, but to me it feels sturdy, you just have to tighten the seat screw pretty tight ot the seat will slide back a bit. i think its worth it, im happpy with the seat up.
