I have the mustache style engine guard on my 08 fatty and want to put spotlights on this engine guard. Anyone have any ideas on placement and how to hide the wires?
Any help and pictures?
I have been thinking about doing the same thing and whether I could drill some holes and feed the wires up inside the highway bars. I like the additional visibility created by those spot lights.
I have been thinking about doing that for a couple of years. The reason I wanted to do it was, to have \\;better frontal visibility, during daylight and night time hours, \\;to alert cagers that were getting ready to make left turns into my path.
Mounting the running lights low and further outboard would give the proper triangle light effect that is suppose to be \\;the  \\;ideal setup for maximum visibility to cagers.
I would remove the rubber foot pads from the Mustache and mount the HD lights or equivalent below that area. I wouldn't think it would be a problem to run the wires inside the Mustache engine guard. I have been dragging my feet, otherwise I would have had it done by now.
