Default Fatboy + HD Mustache engine guard?

Considering adding an engine guard to my '02 Fatboy. Looking hard at the HD Mustache style guard, I like the looks and think the integrated foot-rest would be good &amp\\; save the cost of additional&nbsp\\;highway pegs...
Just wondering&nbsp\\;who&nbsp\\;else is using this setup and whaddya think? Are the foot rests located OK for a comfortable ride?
Any pics of similar bikes / setups would be cool also.
Thanks all.

I have the Lindby engine guards without integrated foot pegs on my '02 Fatboy.&nbsp\\; I agree the integrated engine guards look good but you have no adjustment.&nbsp\\; With the HD highways pegs attached to your engine guards you&nbsp\\;can adjust the pegs for your height.&nbsp\\; I also had to readjust mind after a seat change.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;

Hey acchd... Do the standard HD highway pegs fit the Lindby engine guard?&nbsp\\; I've got the Lindby and wouldn't mind adding some highway pegs, but the cost of the Lindby highway pegs is outrageous.

Yes it'll fit Lindby.&nbsp\\; You'll need the HD Engine Guard Footpeg mounting kit pn 50964-98 ~$39.95.&nbsp\\;

I have the lindby and it seems my foot hits it quite a bit. Anyone with the hd bar have an opinion on that version? The lindby bar doesn't bow out as much it's almost straight when you look at it from the side.

i have the mustache bar on my 04 fatboy. i too was hoping not to add the expense of highwaybars. my legs were too short to be comfortable. i just went ahead and added some pegs from j&amp\\;p. if you want some pics let me know and i take them for ya.

Poorboy has the best of both worlds.&nbsp\\; Integrated pad plus added footrest.&nbsp\\; Nice setup.&nbsp\\;
I have the moustache on my Heritage and while I find it useful to rest my feet on it would be nice to have another resting place lower down.
