I took the bike into the dealer on Sat. and here is what i was told.
"Air pressure was to low" I had 32psi they said it should be at least 38psi and that was the reason my tire feathered. I read the factory manual and it says for 2up i should be running 30psi. they spun the front wheel and saw the lump in the tire and they tell me that its not a warranty issue because i did not have my 1000mi service done by harley. They i am told that it is my steering head bearing, I said i didn't think that was the problem as it has been adjusted recently and it feels great. then they tell me its just because i have a 21" wheel and they have alot of flex in them. I am really pissed off the bike only has 1800mi. and my front tire is already egg shaped and the dealer is NO HELP! why is it such a problem to get warranty work done on a $17k 4 month old bike???????
Love the bikes, HATE the dealers. Why don't you let us know who the dealer and rep is you spoke with. The WWW is a great way to spread the word of people and businesses we should avoid.
