Default Powercommander Install

Ordered PCIII. Should be here anyday.. How easy is it to install on 08 NT? Which map would be best for me to download? I got 08 NT with VH big radius pipe, stage 1 intake.

The install is pretty easy. As to what map you might need, check the manufacture site.

Most of the people here have bought the PCIII through Fuel Moto who will pre-load the map for you, guess you got it from someone else. Best bet is load the closest map to your config and have the bike dynoed.

Finally got it installed..&nbsp\\;I hooked everything up on the bike and then&nbsp\\;hooked the computer to it and sent the map. It said map sent successfully, did I do it all right? I loaded it&nbsp\\;with one of the maps off of PC website. Now I got a couple questions. What exactly do the 3 buttons on the box do and how do you work them? Should I even mess with them or should I just have the bike dyno tuned? The map I loaded&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;is dead on with what I got on the bike. When I turn the ignition on what should the lil meter on the box be at? What about when I crank it up? Just want to make sure everything is running right.. Any help to get it running awesome would be greatly appreciated!
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
Thanks!

You should have pretty good instructions with respect to the "3 buttons", but you'll likely not need to worry about them. If you don't have an instruction sheet, check out their website, and you'll likely find good directions there. I found that the web site maps are very good. I've changed maps a few times, just playing around, and after I do, I watch the exhaust tips and spark plugs just to see what my engine is doing. If they offered a map that matches your configuration, you should be good to go. I've said this before, but make sure that the plugs that replaced your O2 sensors are secure. You can't get replacements if one falls off, as one of mine did.

I went for the dyno tune.&nbsp\\; Well worth the money to know it's right.
