On my ride to work this afternoon, a deer jumped out of a thicket in an area I've never seen deer in. I locked-up the brakes on the Train and am pretty sure I ran over her back leg or hoove because she and I both almost went down.
I WAS VERY VERY LUCKY. I made it into work shaking, but I got through it.

yes i had three jump in front. skidded the tires, scared the fist one, skinned the second one and the third decided to turn around.
When i was group riding we had a deer jump over a bike.
My friend died a few weeks back missing a deer. he was driving a car and it rolled

Late night ride with my buddy. \\; He's leading and cracks the throttle around a corner. \\; Must have scared the deer because it jumps out at me. \\; Huge frickin' buck. \\; Split second decision, brake or speed up. \\; I sped up and the dear passed inches behind me. \\; Talk about a pucker factor. \\; We were only going around 40, but it could have been real nasty.
