Has anyone ever have the problem with reaching the kickstand?&nbsp\\; As it's so forward!&nbsp\\; Harley is trying to figure out what they can come up with.&nbsp\\; I just traded my Nightster in on a new Heritage!&nbsp\\; Thanks guys and gals.

 

Yep, I noticed the same thing last month when I got my new '08 Heritage, but have now gotten used to it...just takes a little extra reach.

 

Get longer legs.

 

Its the same on the Heritages from the 90s. Harley sure is taking a long time to solve this mysterious problem.

 

Gundog I've been wishing for longer legs for 43 yrs.&nbsp\\; LOL&nbsp\\; Problem is I can't reach it at all.&nbsp\\; I can reach about the back of the step plate.&nbsp\\; I've got the same colours on my bike black cherry and silver.&nbsp\\; I'll eventually airbrush it with a theme after I get caught up with people waiting for my work.

 

Harleys dont have kickstands, that would explain the reach thing.&nbsp\\; I cant reach one from my bike either, unless my son parks his bicycle really nearby.

Reaching the jiffy stand just takes practice.

maybe try rolling the bike forward with the stand touching to bring it closer to you.

Chnaged mine to&nbsp\\;the jiffy stand for a HD Deluxe a few years back. It makes it a little better.
