Default SLIP ON'S

I have a 08 heritage, it's all stock. The wife says it's not loud enough ( I about fell over when she said it ). We went on a full moon ride last night with the our HOG group. We couldn't hear our bike for the other bike's. What's a good set of slip ons, I don't want to replace the whole exhaust system. I have straight pipes on my other bike and I don't want my heritage that loud. That's why I want to go with slip ons.

Heck just get some true duals. Slip-on's are not that loud.

On My wifes Heritage this past weekend we Just put Rush slip on with a stage 1 kit and a PCIII. Bike sounds 100 times better nice rumble at idle&nbsp\\;but not to loud at highway speeds. I am glad the dealer talked me into them for her bike.

Sunrise Rider:

I had the same problem on my 07 Hertage.&nbsp\\; I added the slip on Cycle Shack 3" mufflers.&nbsp\\; The sound deep and throatie and I get no poping on deceleration.&nbsp\\; I aslo added the XIED's and the bike runs cooler on both the engine and oil temps.

Got my '08 Heritage a month ago and put on V&amp\\;H slip-ons and XIED's....it's all good! Runs cooler, a little quicker throttle response and the XIED's slightly deepened the exhaust sound. Not too loud and has a strong tone. If you want loud, leave the baffles out. I did that the first day. It sounded GREAT, but a little too loud for all day riding.
Man, this Heritage is a nice ride!!

i have the rush 1.75 and the set off car alarms if revved. I had the 2.25 and the set off the alarms when idle. My friend has the Rinehart's skip ons and another has the full set and they both sound the same from the back.

what a great quote. thanks for helping me decide what size slip on to go with... loud and obnoxious FTW (for the win)

if i cant be famous, i will settle for notorious.
