I just bought a 2008 Heritage Softail. \\; I desparately need a solution to make "mama" happy: \\; I must replace the stock passenger pegs with floorboards AND raise those floorboard about 3 inches above the level of the stock pegs. \\; Ideally, the passenger floorboards could be adjustable. \\; Can anyone help me?
My wife was complaining about the bag gaurds hitting the back of her legs and hurting. I even removed the bag gaurds, (that sucked). After searching around and posting up on every forum on the internet and getting no help, I stumbled on these. Put them on and problem was solved. My bag gaurds were back on. Mama loves them. Picks her feet up and her legs out away from the bag gaurd. http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp...&\\;ci=2410 http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp...&\\;ci=2410
Damn forum wont post the link Go to Kuryakyn.com and look up Softail adjustable foot pegs.
Hope it helps with your problem, it can be frustrating. BTW, the best part was I kept my foot boards also. If you look close you can see them. \\;
