I have a 2008 Nightrain and during 1 hour+ rides my neck get sore as a SOB. I'm 5'7" and I recently swapped out the stock risers with the HD Slotted risers\\; they brought the stock bars a little bit closer to me but my neck still gets sore. I've looked at the Wild 1 web-site and seen afew different bars (500 &\\; 501) that seem that they might help, but before investing the money and time I thought that may someone here may have a solution.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

I had the same problem with my neck and lower back. (I have had neck surgery with a plate put in) I am also 5'6" and found a set of bars listed in the 08 HD catalog just for the train. It is for people like with a short reach and want to ride in a more upright position. They bring the bars 5" closer to you. Everyone that has sat on my train before and after I had them put on like them MUCH better. The bars with risers were $159.95 list (looks like 4 1/2"risers and the bars are 28" tip to tip (similar to a set up on a Deuce). Dealer install was about $130.00 if I remember correctly. Now I can ride Hrs without any problems. I did 300 miles one day last week and could have gone 300 more. The part # is 56029-00 on page 332 of the 2008 catalog. Hope this helps.
