Would you activate it?

The 09 Softails can have the rear cylinder deactivate if you choose to have the dealer activate the feature.&nbsp\\; Just wanted to hear your thoughts.&nbsp\\;

Do you mean the "Heat Management System or Parade Mode"?

My 05 has this and only once did it kick in , stuck in traffic on a 100 degree day, oil temp hit 280. &nbsp\\;I think it helped keep the ike cool and as soon as I got moving it turned off and the rear cyl started to fire again.

I had it on my 03 Heritage. Never caused a problem.

ahhh im glad someone brought this up. i was thinking the same exact thing.....hopefully there will be more info on this when my bike comes in next year
