I have one of the Tmax speedo's

Things you might not have noticed yet:

1) In direct sunlight you'll have to guess what your speed is. The glare makes it un-readable.

2) After 9 months I still haven't got the milage thing to work. I thought I figured it out but it seems not. If I did configure it right then it fluctuates wildly from low teens to 100+ MPG.

3) I lost one of the lights in the MPH readout

4)when I rolled over from 19, 999 miles it wne to 10,000 miles instead of 20,000

I bought it for my 07 Duece also thinking it would be better looking than a clamp on tach. If I had to do it over again I would keep the $ and go with a cheaper clamp on style.

The other thing to watch out for is that if your looking at a bike that has one of these installed, you can reconfigure the mileage and set it to anything you want so be warned!

Yeah, I notice that they do suck in sunlight! But as I said in my intial review, "I would not recommend these speedos", especially at the $450= pirce tag.

I'm with you!

I removed my tank when i installed it, I put a new set of bars and ran the wires internally, i started with an empty tank and set it to zero in the config. mode.... i then put a little gas in rode to the station, filled up that tank.
I went into the config. mode and could not get the fuel gauge numbers to change... it reads .6 or .7; The instructions say to use both the "set button" and the "trip button" as soon as i touch the "trip button" it goes to the odometer...
I also tried to set it in the standard mode with no luck either....

If you can't tell i am getting a little frustrated!

Sounds like you're not in the CONFIG Mode; with the bike turned off, hold down the CONFIG Button and turn the bike on. Then just scroll to the desired Fuel Mode you're trying to set.
