Default New guy with 08 train

Just wanted to officially introduce myself here. I picked up a new pewter denim train last sat. So far Im loving this bike and cant wait to start with some modifications. First things Id like to do is a stage 1 and lower it about an inch. Then start blacking out some of the chrome. What is the best and least expensive way to lower? What is everyone using to remap the computer after intake/exhaust work?

Anyways here are a couple pics of the bike.

Here is a pic of the corvette(under cover in pic) I just sold. Car made 452rwhp and was a complete animal!

Welcome and congrats on the new bike. As far as lowering, the words best and cheapest rarely go together. You can use lowering bolts as the inexpensive way, new adjustable shocks like the progressive 422's for about $400, or go all out and do an air ride for $1100 or $1200. I have the progressives and like the adjustability and the increased shock performance over the stock shocks. Search the forum for "lowering" and you'll find tons of useful info.
