Does anyone know if the low fuel light is triggered by the float or something else?
My guage float is stuck and I am reluctant to run down to the light, especially if it works off the float.

I think my 2005 FLSTSI (and other softails of that era) had a recall or at least some type of service notice associated with a stuck float. I cant help you with your question but the dealer fixed mine for free. You might ask...
