Default 08 Night Train bar options

OK I am the new owner of a pewter Denim Night train. I love the bike. Only complaint is that the bar position has started to take its toll on my lower back. Any riser options to pull back without changing clutch/brake cables etc??? Thanks in advance

I had initially replaced my stock risers with the same height riser, but with a bend, which I bought via HD. Actually, they're the risers that are in my sig pic. I've since switched to WILD1 500s.

I have a 07 NT. I have the same problem with the drag bars hurting my back.
I am looking into getting the Street Slammer bars from HD. They have a
little more rise and pull back a little more. Also, the nice thing about them
is that they will use the stock cables, so you do not have to worry about getting new ones.

I am 6-4 and the bars are perfect for me, otherwise the pullback makes me feel like im on one of those old banana bicycles..lol..just wondering about getting like 2 more inches on the risers ?

Check these guys out: http://stores.ebay.com/AMERICAN-CLASSIC-MOTORS

I have purchased a lot of stuff from these guys. Very good quality, excellent prices and they really know what they are doing and care about making and keeping you happy. And oh yeah...great prices too!

They have a set of cool Z bars that would bolt right on with no mods. Take a look at their site, they have a great selection and you can get them in chrome (no thanks...LOL) or black powdercoat. I got a set of drag bars w/welded on risers in black that lay back a bit for a whopping $100.
They have bars like those (w/welded on risers) and just the bar that would utilize your stock risers and bar clamp.

Z bars in chrome:

If I had not bought the ones I did, I was considering getting the Z-bars in black and using the stock risers with them.....a nice contrast.

1.25" Z-bars in black:

another option....lay back risers:

Good luck!

This the first question everyone has after buying a train. The answer is almost all T-bars will fit with stock cables. Different risers and drag bars can work with stock cables too.

When it comes to comfort, more width makes as much difference as pullback. Stock NT bars are very narrow and I think that is what causes many comfort problems (and makes it hard to use the mirrors).

Good luck with your Bar Search.
