Default Floor Board Extenders

Hey everyone, I bought the floor board extenders from Harley Goodies, great product and I love that the floor boards are now out about an inch but one problem, I now want to extend my shifter out too. My feet are not big enough and I have to move my foot over to shift. Does anyone have any ideas?? Thanks

I swapped the stock for a Kuryakyn Extended Girder Shift Lever p/n 1026. it's about 1 3/4" longer than stock.

works for me.

I thought that might be a problem when I put the Harleygoodies on mine but didn't even notice a difference with shifting. And I'm only a size 9. I'm sure there's a product out there for you if you look long enough.

I never have had a problem with the shift lever once adding the extensions but it looks like someone found a solution to a perceived problem. Always good to see people finding solutions. Comfort is first when you have Goodies installed.

I have the floor board extenders on my 2007 Heritage Classic. I wear a size 9 ladies boot. I have no problems with either the heel shifter or my brake.

I also thought that I would have more of a problem with my kick stand getting it up. It is always a bear to try to reach under the floor board. But with it extended out. I now can see between the extender and the bike and it is easier to find it.

Glad we helped you another issue as well. I never pay attention to the stand and don't even think about it, but looks like you feel safer now. Great.

I know the Harley Goodies extensions are a good mod, nothing but pos. remarks. My wife needs 'em on her '08 Deluxe. The reason I haven't moved on them is she also needs an inch or so forward extension too. Anybody know of a way to do both ?
