"LOL, taking off the rear seat bolt?"

Yep, now I have a $12.00 thumb screw on the seat. No more screw drivers. I keep debating on taking the fender and having it touched up and recleared, or just wait for the custom paint job. For now I touched it up myself to keep it from rusting.

My best suggestion is to ride the hell out of your motorcycle and have such a good time that you forget all about the scratch. If that don't work for ya...well, you could pull off that mean old nasty scratched up part and mail it to me so you never have to look at it again. No need to thank me, its all part of the service...
Seriously man, I'm sorry it happened but its best to forget about it and just ride.
Thank you guys for all your input. I feel alot better today then when it first happened yesterday. I tried simichrome and got a hell of a shine on the forks but the scratches are still there. you know what, megawatt you are right bro. I rode all day today and didn't think about it once. So i'm just going to ride the hell out of her and if it still bothers me that much i'll just replace the fork during the winter.

thanks again fellas
