only have 4500 miles on it. was goin to bike night and shifted from first and the shift lever felt like it slipped on the splines, looked down it still good the shift rod still on, everything fine on the outside. pulled over started shifting and wont come out of neutral. cant feel anything going back and forth.

it will be if you haven't done any engine work stealers love to blame tranny problems on engine work

 

It could be something very simple.....like a bent shift fork or such. There is no telling until you crack open the tranny.
