Has anyone here moved their turn signals from the handle bars to the forks.. If so any advise would be greatly appreciate it, i will embark on this task this evening. Thanks and rock on!
Starting from scratch. i guess my question here is the wiring, moving it from the outside of the handle bars back in through the switch housing inside the handle bars down to the trees, Am I on the right direction or is there a different way, hopefully much easier?
joe, you are correct, it is pretty aggravating to do this.i have just finished mine and it took me several hours to complete. i dont have any pics yet because i am out of town. i waited until i came up with something that looked really custom, when you move them to the forks there is to much of the wires exposed for my taste. the way i did mine the wires are hidden and not wrapped around the fork tubes. if you want to wait until i can post pics i promise it is worth the wait (imo).
by the way i am not putting anybody down that has theirs the other way, they all look better than mounted to the bars. i just wanted something different
