I've got them on mine as well. First mod I had to do; I'm 6'4" with a 34" inseam. I wish I could extend them another 3" but I guess my toes would hit the front wheel when I turn. My solo seat gives me a little extra room to extend; my 2 up gunfighter has a removable backrest and the hardware for that moves you up an inch or 2.
It was an easy install, and the kit comes with the extended braided brake line and the rear brake pressure switch.
I don't know if you are interested but I these for sale: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...n%3D1%26ps%3D5.
If you have any interest, let me know. Also, I'm not sure if it is against any rules to post a link like this. I wanted to post in the parts for sale section, but could not as I don't have 25 posts in this forum yet. If this is against Forum rules please remove and accept my apologies.
Thanks.
I got them on my fxst and love them. The ness kit comes with it all, brake line, shift linkage etc. when you put them on the rear brake will feel alil soft casue of the type of line and siince they are further out, but you will get use to it.
Thanks a lot guys. I am planning on doing this mod soon. I'm 5'10, but hate how the foot pegs hit about 6" up my leg when extended. I will be going with Arlen Ness since the kit comes with everything.
