Default Cluctch cable routing

Does anyone know the proper routing of the clutch cable for an 07 softail custom FXSTC?

I just replaced the cable on my wife's Deluxe. At the lower front of the bike, it ran between the frame and the engine then under the engine to the transmission. I would suspect the Custom is the same. No clamps anywhere other than the loose one on the clutch side of the frame toward the top of the engine.

08 is as follows:
Across front of handlebars
Down to clamp on left frame down tube
