I just installed Cycle Shack slipons on my Nightrain and i'm really diggin the sound. Now it sounds like a Harley. I had my neighbor ride it up and down the block so I can listen to it and you can tell that my bike is heading towards you. Very cool and easy to install. Just use a lot of WD40. The only thing that i had a hard time with was messing with the original clamps. the instructions said to buy new ones, but it was late and i wanted it on my bike that i couldn't wait to go to the store.
i'm still debating on installing the screaming eagle air cleaner that i purchased. i might return it. i also just got some X14eid in the mail. so i might install it with the air cleaner. or just leave them both off. any thoughts?
Not yet... figure I'll need something more than IED's at that point. I'm still undecided about future engine mods... figure there's no sense in springing for XiED if I'm going to end up changing cams (which will need a TM auto-tune or prefessional dyno tuning). At least the 08 is running cooler now and I have "the sound."

Yea, I had Short Shots on my 1200R and had to have em on the Train. I only wish I could put mid controls on my Train, I have a 29 inch inseam and my legs cramp on the forwards.
