Default How hard is it to change front fork sliders?

Thinking of getting chrome forks for my Heritage. Is it a big deal to change them?

They are pretty eays to do. You need to get the front end in the air so you will need a lift of some sort. Make sure you get new seals and crush washers from the dealer plus the new fork oil. Should take less than an hour or so. You will need to make or buy a tool to install the seal on the slider. I used 2" pvc pipe to do mine.

If you can change your oils and do other light mechanical stuff you'll be able to do the front end. My first Heritage took about three hours but the second one only took about two. Do your headlight tins and cans at the same time. I found all my parts on ebay for about $185.
