fender replacement for '09 crossbones
Just recently purchased an '09 crossbones through AAFES sales for deployed soldiers. Love the crossbones but cannot stand the stock fender. Are there any replacement fenders that use the same mounting hardware/brackets that fit a 200mm tire on the crossbones that I can having waiting at home after my deployment? Looking for something easy and cost effective that will change the look. thanks

The 08/09 Fatboy rear fender will work. You will need a plate holder and the base for the tail light. Both pretty cheap. Fenders are showing up on Ebay cheap enough. I got one new in the box for $140.00. DELIVERED! Not quite as long as I would have liked. But it's H.D. so there isn't any "mock up". work to be done. And it will look just fine. However if you don't like the look of H.D.s tail light you may want to go with something like a Sumax fender since the Fat Boy fender has a sculpted area for the light that would be hard to cover with say a tombstone light.

I agree with ya on that fender, im looking at getting a crossbones but that fender has got to go, Im sure a fender from www.heartlandbiker.com would work they are spendy but it give a cool loof to it
