Not sure if this helps or not... I put a set of same year Heritage bars on my '06 Fatboy. I had talked to the HD dealer parts Guru and there were a number of Softail bars that were all listed as OEM for the Fatboy - the cables did not have to be replaced. Had an indy replace the bars for $50 (including adjusting the clutch and brakes). New bars set me back on the seat and more straight up (less clamshell).
according to Lori at Combs Customs, the risers are $173.95 - and they have plenty in stock.
I talked to an Indy that said neither the cables nor wires should need to be replaced with a 2 up and 2 back swap. just saying - I haven't measured anything.
