Default lowered fatboy last night

I have an 04 Fatboy that I slammed last night.. Is there anything i should do like adjustment wise on the bike to compensate for the lowering? I used the extended bolt kit, and lowered as much as it would allow... Thanks for the help, Im new to the whole Harley world, and this forum..

check the drive belt tension, and also make sure the belt is not rubbing at the top where it goes into the primary.

If it does rub, how do you fix that? how tight should the belt be?

Welcome to the low crowd!
I set my belt to about 1/2" movement up and down when pushed with my thumb.
I also increased the rear preload a full turn rides a little stiffer but reduces bottoming when two up.
My street sweeper pipes drag on tight right turns mostly when two up, that takes some getting used to and can be mostly managed by changing your line in turns.

Let's see some pictures!

Take it easy on the turns at first... Until you get used to it. I went the full 2" at first with 422"s, then ended up raising it back up a bit. Still a little tough on the twisties but now I am used to it, I know the limits...and can hang with everyone esle(not lowered)..

You shouldn't have any problems with the belt rubbing from just 2 inches. But I do agree with checking you belt... Congrat on the lowering and becoming a HD rider

Looks good but I prefer my Hi-Lo for quick adjustability. A riding bud had the progressives for a bit but decided to switch to the hi-lo as well. That was what convinced me. These pics are with it totally slammed. Takes about 10 seconds to raise up for that cushy ride. Contact me via PM if you want any more info.
