Usually check oil every other ride, along with tire pressure.

I normally just do a cold check before a ride unless I suspect anything.

Check mine only after a hard ride of more than 200 miles. I guess thats about every time I ride.

Hey Warg I check it every couple weeks. My dad drilled it into me too and taught me a lot about cars & bike general maintenance. I do a cold check with bike level and look for the oil level to be just a tad under where the oil filler neck starts to jut out from oil tank and it seems to workout well.
Hey 07FXSTC that pic is smoking man !

I've owned this bike a couple of years now. Doesn't matter if I'd check it every day or just when I change fluids, it doesn't use or lose any oil. I don't worry about it...

I try to check the oil weekly. Never have had to add any.
