Size of FXST Front fork cap nut.

Default Size of FXST Front fork cap nut.
Hi guys,
What size wrench/socket I need for the fork cap nut on an FXST ,
These are the huge ones on the top of the upper triple tree ?

I am trying to remove my forks out.

Help please.

If I am not mistaken, I'd a 1-1/4".

Sorry, couldn't remember. The steering head nut must be 1-1/4". I've got both, just can't remember which is which.

No big thing, you were close. Besides I only remember because I looked all over for anyone who had one in stock and only found it at Tractor Supply.

I think JIMS USA makes one and it won't skin your chrome.
