It is the same color as the grease they filled the neck with. That just stopped leaking then after the 1k it started again. The way the wind was blowing it around just seemed to thin. But that junk they put in there seems to drip like water. I guess its possible that is what it could have been. Ill keep my eye on it and see what happens. Now that its not 110 outside I will be racking up the miles. Thanks for everyones input. Keep the rubber side down.

It is possible to over do it when filling the steering head with grease. This grease will warm up and drip out occasionally. Like everyone else said, keep an eye on it. I've got 32K on my bike. I had to have the lower legs reworked because of a bad seal. Fork oil that has 20,000 miles will begin to turn gray from the aluminum in the forks.
