I bought the mini powerball and have used it only one time. I find the mini is still too big to fit into all the nooks & crannies. Plus I get polisher on areas I don't want it - I guess I'm not careful enough. Doing it by hand is just as easy for me.

I'm yet to try this on my chrome rims but it worked great on the stock fatboy rims. I bought a kit with the small and large ones on ebay for $20. Mine has not ripped or anything either. Also came with a long extension to get to hard to reach areas...I jsut searched and I see taht they have gone up in price. Guess I just got lucky...

Do any of you guys hit any painted areas or do you just use micro-fiber cloth..I haven't hit the paint on my bike with an orbital either just micro fiber.same on the rear aluminum wheel..I am gonna pick up the mini ball kit Saturday to help with the rear wheel though, hope it works good on it..

I just cleaned the whole bike and decided to not use my powerball on my chrome rims. After washing I hit them with purple slice and they look great. The stock aluminum rims always looked killer after the powerball.

I use the mini ball, but only for the tins. i get a lot of surface scratches on both sides of the tank after awhile from the seams on my riding jeans.

the mini ball and those fantastic Menzerna polishes brings the paint back to life.

I use a hard shell wax like Mequiar's Gold Class on the tins afterward...
