Glad to hear everything worked out. I have the relocation kit on mine, the look doesn't really bother me. I dig the black and chrome. I'm getting a set of auto gems derringers to replace the stockers here soon. Congrats on the Bones.

thanks guys for the comments...the funny thing is we are having bike fest down here this weekend (South Padre Island) and i was originally going to the Harley Davidson store to pick up a rear seat and peg kit for my nightster so my wife can go with me....i saw the crossbones which is what i wanted since ive seen them, and i traded my nightster in for it...it took a couple of hours to make the deal but i am extremely happy with it....i took my wife for her first ride on it yesterday and she had a good time...bike fest here we come!

I switched from a Spotster also and love it, you talked about a bigger back rest pad and I had the same issue, my wife hated the setup. The combination of the seat and backrest was painfull for her on long rides, I spent $300.00 on detatchable sideplates, sissybar and touring pad and now that she can lean back the seat does not bother her. You can get the hardware in wrinkle black so it looks ok and you only have to pop it on when you have a passenger.

Here is a pic of my 08 nightster that i reall y loved and traded it in for the 09 crossbones we've been talking about...this sporty was fast!! It was sold 2 days after i traded it in!

Here are the pictures of the 09 Crossbones I bought. Nothing aftermarket yet...but sure does ride better than the Nightster!!! The last picture is of my son and I. Gotta show him later on in life how we looked!!
