Anyone got any helpfull info on a Power Commander 5 install on my Crossbones? Any advice is appreciated?
I am new to this site and hope it is ok that I ask you guys for help!
You need to remove the ribs on the underside of the pan thing (frame fairing). If you remove the fuse holder bracket, it allows the fuses the drop dowm and make room for the PCV connectors. Anyway, it's a tight fit.
We didn't want you as a sportster rider anyway... Just joking man!
enjoy the Xbones. I know I want one but I don't want to give up my nightster so I'll just have to buy one sometime down the road
Hey guys, I also just got a 09 Xbones. (dark blue pearl) Too quiet stock so
I bought Samson blk sidewinders, and kuyakyn hypercharger. Dont have $ for the dyno so want to use powercomander III usb but am hearing about install problems. Cant wait to have her sound the way I know she should. Any advice?

Congrats! Your gonna love it!
I wish I could answer your question, but you definitely came to the right place.
I moved the sissybar pad up and that helped a lot. The stock location is way too low. I had a PCV and the installation was a PITA. I was never really comfortable with it. Went to a T-Max and the fit is fine.
